Local Government Management Systems
With robust management systems in place, local governments can provide citizens with more effective and efficient public services such as health care, education, and empowerment of small enterprises. LGSP assists local governments in improving priority services by strengthening management systems. LGSP helps communities and local governments to work towards achieving minimum service standards for obligatory functions that are the responsibility of local government. LGSP also provides guidance to national and local stakeholders on action planning for service improvement, public service contracting, and procurement reform, and endeavors to develop a network of consultancy service providers in the area of public service management.
